Join The Bob Tug walk and help kids with cancer

Friday 5 March 2021 in News from the Cancer Centre

Grab your walking shoes and join in the fun as The Bob 'Tug' Wilson's Walk is taking registrations and has events the whole family can participate in. Every cent raised will help kids and teenagers at the Cancer Centre for Children at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

The walk will take place on Sunday 23 May, 2021

All ages and fitness levels are catered for and you can plod, amble or race at your own pace. Feeling fit? Limber up and try the 27km walk from The Rocks to Manly soaking up the stunning scenery and social atmosphere with fellow walkers. Prefer a shorter walk? The 13km walk from The Rocks to Balmoral is the event for you at only half the distance but all the fun. Need a family friendly option? The 1km walk along Manly Esplanade is flat and takes you straight across the finish line. There is even a virtual walk you can do in your own time and environment of varying distances.

Walkers will raise vital funds for the Cancer Centre for Children supporting innovative research and the development of improved treatments.

You’re invited to join us, with your friends and family, to enjoy walking in some of the most beautiful parts of Sydney and make a difference to the lives of kids with cancer.

Visit the Bob ‘Tug’ Walk website to find out more and register.
