Welcome to the Cancer Centre for Children at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
Our mission is a simple one: to ease the way for newcomers, and to provide a formal and accessible communication channel with patients and their families.
All the information we provide has been written by doctors, nurses and importantly, parents with experience of childhood cancer treatment.
Some of these parents continue to battle against the disease and its long-term manifestations, others thankfully have survived and now provide their time and expertise as part of the Oncology Parent Committee.
